Our total days result represents the number of full 24-hour periods (the time elapsed). This is the standard, exclusive count. If your purpose requires an inclusive count (where the end date itself is counted), simply add one day to the total result displayed.
How does the calculator handle leap years and month lengths?
The detailed breakdown (years, months, days) uses a method that correctly accounts for the variable number of days in each month (28, 29, 30 or 31) and accurately includes all leap years in the total count, ensuring maximum precision for any time span.
What happens if I enter the dates backward?
