GST Exclusive vs. Inclusive
GST Exclusive: This is the price of a product before GST is added. The formula is: Total = Price + (Price\times Rate / 100)
GST Inclusive: This is the total price including tax. To find the original price: Price = Total / (1 + (Rate / 100))
GST Slab Rates in India
Most items fall under the four major slabs: 5%, 12%, 18% and 28%. Services generally fall under the 18% slab, while essential food items might be 0% or 5%.
